The School of Economics and Finance was established in 2014 through a merger of the Departments of Economics Theory, Accounting and Auditing, Economic Modelling, and Financial Management. The School is headed by Tatiana Bukina.
The aim of the School is to create and develop a community of academics and professional practitioners from the fields of theoretical and applied economics, corporate finance and financial markets.

ID Lab Team Has a Kickoff Meeting at HSE-Perm
The meeting gathered all the project participants, including the four international leading research fellows: the laboratory academic supervisor Angel Barajas, and the research line supervisors - Felix Iturriaga, Dennis Coates, and Carlos Fernandez-Jardon Fernandez.
The day was also marked with the launch of a series of research seminars. The research line supervisors shared their vision of how their particular sector was going to develop. The members of each research line also discussed future research ideas. As part of the seminar “Intangible-driven performance: SMEs versus large companies”, Angel Barajas and Elena Shakina presented the results of the team work for the past four years.
